In the years that followed, Sir Tony expanded his career into presenting, becoming the face of Time Team, the ground-breaking archaeological series he fronted for two decades, helping to bring history and archaeology to a wide mainstream audience.
Alongside his television work, he has written extensively for both adults and children, with a particular passion for making history accessible and engaging.
